Dalton Construction

Built on Quality.
Grounded in Trust.

Dalton Construction is a local construction company founded by Shane Dalton with a simple approach: do quality work, communicate clearly, and treat every project with the same care you would give your own home.

Meet Shane

For Shane, construction is about more than building and renovating. It’s about creating something that will be used, lived in, and enjoyed for years to come.

With over 20 years of experience in construction, Shane brings a hands-on approach to every project. He values good craftsmanship, attention to detail, and taking the time to understand what each client is hoping to accomplish before the work begins.

That personal involvement continues throughout the project. Clients know who they’re working with, who to call with a question, and what to expect along the way.

How Dalton Construction Started

Dalton Construction began with Shane’s move from Ireland to San Francisco. Soon after arriving, he got to work, learning alongside experienced local contractors and building his skills through hands-on experience across a wide range of projects.

Over the years, Shane developed not only his craft, but also his own approach to the work—one centered on quality, reliability, and taking pride in the details. That experience eventually led him to start Dalton Construction and build a business of his own.

What began with years of learning the trade and working alongside others has grown into a local business built on quality work, trusted relationships, and referrals from clients who are proud to recommend Dalton Construction to others.

Our Approach

We know having construction work done in your home is a big decision. Our goal is to make the process as straightforward as possible.

That means listening before we start, being realistic about the scope of the project, communicating throughout the work, and paying attention to the details along the way.

Whether it’s a smaller home improvement or a larger renovation, every project receives the same level of care.
